# TheBidBoard > Pay to own #1. TheBidBoard (https://thebidboard.lol) is a public product leaderboard where anyone can pay to rank a product, startup, or profile. Highest total amount paid keeps the crown. This file is the full-text corpus for TheBidBoard. Use https://thebidboard.lol/llms.txt for the curated index. Official site: https://thebidboard.lol ## What TheBidBoard is TheBidBoard is a newspaper/classifieds-styled public leaderboard. Products, startups, people, and businesses pay to claim and defend a ranked spot. Rank is determined solely by the total amount paid for a listing. The current #1 is whoever has paid the most in aggregate. TheBidBoard is not an ad network with guaranteed impressions. It does not promise traffic, clicks, sales, or any other outcome from appearing on the board. Placement is paid ranking on a public list. ## Ranking rules - Rank is the sort order of active listings by total amount paid (highest first). Ties are broken by earlier creation time. - A listing is identified by its normalized domain (or, for X/Twitter profiles, the profile URL such as x.com/{handle}). Submitting the same domain again tops up the existing listing instead of creating a second row. - Listings only appear on the public board after payment is confirmed. Pending unpaid submissions are not shown. - The amount required to take #1 is the current #1 total plus $1. - Minimum bid is $1. - Payments are for placement. They are non-refundable once a listing becomes active, except where required by law or at the operator's discretion. - Operators may remove any listing at any time, for any reason, without a refund. ## How to claim a spot Visit https://thebidboard.lol/#claim and submit: - Product URL (required). A public website, product page, or profile URL. - Category (required). One of the 17 categories listed below. - Description (required). Maximum 100 characters. - Optional social links: Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok. Each must be a valid URL for that platform. - Amount in dollars (required). Minimum $1. The homepage shows the live price to claim #1. On submit, the visitor is redirected to Pocketsflow checkout for exactly that amount. After payment succeeds, the listing is activated and the paid amount is added to that listing's running total. That is how topping up works. ## Categories Every listing is tagged with exactly one category. The leaderboard can be filtered to All or to a single category. Category filter is client-side on the homepage; there are no separate /category URLs. - saas: SaaS - mobile-apps: Mobile Apps - games: Games - tools-automation: Tools & Automation - ai-agents: AI Agents - seo-tools: SEO Tools - marketing-sales: Marketing & Sales - people: People - ecommerce: E-Commerce - fintech: Fintech - edtech: EdTech - marketplace: Marketplace - agencies: Agencies - developer-tools: Developer Tools - web3-crypto: Web3 & Crypto - design-creative: Design & Creative - productivity: Productivity ## Pages ### Home — https://thebidboard.lol/ The homepage is the product.
